We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve become the northernmost and first company in the Baltic region to receive the prestigious Quality Association Industrial Coating (QIB Qualitätsgemeinschaft Industriebeschichtung e.V.) certification for our powder coating line.

To ensure adherence to QIB standards, Saku Metall underwent a third-party audit, with processes evaluated and test plates tested in the laboratory. The company maintains a strict quality control regime, periodically providing test plates for up to 1500-hour salt spray test for proof of corrosion protection. The results of these assessments are documented in the certification, providing customers with transparency and assurance regarding the quality standards.

One of the distinguishing features of Saku Metall’s powder coating line is its attention to detail. From the chemistry of the pretreatment line to the coating process, every step is carefully monitored to ensure optimal results. Regular mechanical tests are performed on the powder coating line such as bending, impact, scratch, boiling, and the Machu test — a rapid corrosion test. This thorough assessment ensures that the company’s processes and products consistently meet the highest quality standards in powder coating.
