- Since 2004 AS Saku Metall has implemented quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Since 2016, the quality management system of AS Saku Metall is integrated with environmental management system which meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
- Since 2021, the quality management system of AS Saku Metall is integrated with environmental management system and occupational health and safety management systems that meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Saku Metall Allhanke Tehas’ welding quality system confirms EN ISO 3834-2:2005 and EN 15085-2 level CL1 requirements.
- For all our raw materials, we are ready to offer the manufacturer certificate corresponding to EN ISO 10204 level 3.1.
- In 2022, Saku Metall Allhanke Tehas AS signed a declaration of the FSC guiding principle, on that basis the company must: – follow the procedures set out in the FSC-STD-40-004 v3-1 standard, which are integrated with the company’s management system; – follow FSC labor principles in accordance with the basic rights of employees stipulated in the Saku Metall AS code of ethics and the laws of the Republic of Estonia; – require proof of compliance with FSC-STD-40-004 v3-1 from your business partners.
- Saku Metall Allhanke Tehas has achieved significant milestones in powder coating quality, becoming the first company in the Baltic region to receive the prestigious Quality Association Industrial Coating (QIB) certification. This certification, awarded by Qualitätsgemeinschaft Industriebeschichtung e.V., underscores the company’s commitment to excellence in industrial coating processes.
- Saku Metall has obtained the Deutsche Bahn (DB) certification DBS 918 340 for both steel and aluminum powder coating. This certification is crucial for suppliers in the rail industry, as it ensures compliance with stringent quality standards required for railway applications. The DB certification not only validates the company’s capabilities in delivering high-quality powder-coated products but also facilitates the implementation of new projects within the rail sector.
- To maintain these high standards, Saku Metall conducts rigorous quality control measures, including regular mechanical tests such as bending, impact, scratch, boiling, and the Machu test — a rapid corrosion test. Furthermore, the company performs up to 1500-hour salt spray tests on test plates to verify corrosion protection, ensuring transparency and assurance regarding the quality standards.
